[Solved] How to correctly initialize the Windows desktop (explorer.exe) of Windows 8

This is from memory, but try this:

 myProcess = New Process()
 myProcess.StartInfo.FileName = "C:\Windows\explorer.exe"
 myProcess.StartInfo.UseShellExecute = True
 myProcess.StartInfo.WorkingDirectory = Application.StartupPath
 myProcess.StartInfo.CreateNoWindow = True

 myProcess.Start()

I have to say, I think this is probably something the author should know about/deal with. Get your $3 worth in support 😉
