[Solved] Error: volttron.platform.web INFO: Web server not started

(We actually solved this in an over the phone conversation, I’m not psychic)

This is what happens when you attempt to run VOLTTRON on the Mint OS Live CD and not from an installed copy of Mint.

You will also see authentication errors in the log when Agents try to start up.

In the VM double click on the “Install Linux Mint” icon on the desktop and follow the prompts. Once Mint is installed on the VM restart the VM and proceed with the normal installation instructions.
