How to Change Wrong Aadhar Card Details in EPFO Portal

Seeding Aadhar card details with UAN number is essential for all PF related services, without linking aadhar number with PF account we can’t claim PF amount online. But there are some cases where aadhar details of EPF members were updated wrongly and their aadhar verification was also completed. In that case, they will face problems in utilizing PF online services.

In general EPF members use PF joint declaration form to correct their PF details like their name, father name or husband name, date of joining or date of exit, etc. But we cannot change our aadhar details by using PF joint declaration form.

If your PF account has linked to the wrong Aadhar number then you cannot correct those aadhar details online,  in that case, your employer or you need to write a request letter to your regional EPF office to correct your Aadhar details.

Here you can find the letter formats to correct your Aadhar details in your PF account.

• As I said earlier you can submit a request letter to the PF office either from your employer side or from your side, but if possible submit it through your employer, it has more authenticity.
• When you are submitting a request letter through your employer, then they need to print the letter on their company letterhead and the attestation of employer and office seal is required.
• If you are submitting the request letter directly then write the letter on any A4 size paper and take your employer attestation and office seal on it.
• Along with the request letter we need to submit a copy of Aadhar Card.
