Introduction

Uttarakhand Minimum Wages Notification 2019

The Government of Uttarakhand has issued a notification for the minimum wages applicable in the state from 1 April 2019 to 30 September 2019. The notification has been issued in accordance with the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.

The minimum wages applicable in the state of Uttarakhand for the period from 1 April 2019 to 30 September 2019 are as follows:

• Unskilled workers: Rs. 8,722 per month
• Semi-skilled workers: Rs. 9,722 per month
• Skilled workers: Rs. 10,722 per month
• Highly skilled workers: Rs. 11,722 per month

The notification also states that the minimum wages applicable in the state of Uttarakhand shall be revised every six months in accordance with the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.

The notification is applicable to all employers in the state of Uttarakhand and is effective from 1 April 2019 to 30 September 2019.
