Introduction

The Uttar Pradesh Minimum Wages 2019-20 Notification has been released by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This notification is applicable from 1 October 2019 to 31 March 2020. The notification sets out the minimum wages for various categories of workers in the state. It also provides details on the calculation of wages, overtime, and other allowances. Minimum Wages for Unskilled Worker: Rs. 9,724/- per month

Minimum Wages for Semi-Skilled Worker: Rs. 10,764/- per month

Minimum Wages for Skilled Worker: Rs. 11,804/- per month

Minimum Wages for Highly Skilled Worker: Rs. 12,844/- per month

Uttar Pradesh Minimum Wages 2019-20 Notification

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has issued a notification for the minimum wages applicable to workers in the state for the period from 1 October 2019 to 31 March 2020.

The minimum wages for unskilled workers in Uttar Pradesh has been fixed at Rs. 9,724 per month, for semi-skilled workers at Rs. 10,764 per month and for skilled workers at Rs. 11,844 per month.

The notification also states that the minimum wages for workers employed in the agricultural sector has been fixed at Rs. 8,724 per month.

The notification also states that the minimum wages for workers employed in the industrial sector has been fixed at Rs. 10,764 per month.

The notification also states that the minimum wages for workers employed in the construction sector has been fixed at Rs. 11,844 per month.
