Let&#8217;s have a look at:<\/p>\n<pre class=\"lang-py prettyprint-override\"><code>idx = np.where(img == (0.4, 0.4, 0.4))\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>Then, <code>idx<\/code> is a 3-tuple containing each a <code>ndarray<\/code> for all <code>x<\/code>-coordinates, <code>y<\/code>-coordinates, and &#8220;channel&#8221;-coordinates. From NumPy&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.scipy.org\/doc\/numpy\/reference\/arrays.indexing.html\">indexing<\/a>, I can&#8217;t see a possibility to properly access\/manipulate the values in <code>img<\/code> in the desired way using the proposed command. I can rather reproduce the exact error stated in the comment.<\/p>\n<p>To get a proper <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.scipy.org\/doc\/numpy\/reference\/arrays.indexing.html#integer-array-indexing\">integer array indexing<\/a>, the <code>x<\/code>&#8211; and <code>y<\/code>-coordinates need to be extracted. The following code will show that. Alternatively, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.scipy.org\/doc\/numpy\/reference\/arrays.indexing.html#boolean-array-indexing\">boolean array indexing<\/a> might also be used.
