To achieve what you described you can simply store the last visible activity in SharedPreferences<\/strong> and have a Dispatcher<\/strong> activity that starts the last activity according to the preferences.<\/p>\n

in every activity you want to re-start automatically:<\/p>\n

    @Override\nprotected void onPause() {\n    super.onPause();\n\n    SharedPreferences prefs = getSharedPreferences(\"X\", MODE_PRIVATE);\n    Editor editor = prefs.edit();\n    editor.putString(\"lastActivity\", getClass().getName());\n    editor.commit();\n}\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
And Dispatcher activity similar to the following:<\/p>\n
