The reason I can think of why this returns ERROR<\/code>:<\/p>\n

if (in_array(array('string', 'id'), array('string', 'id')))\n{\n    echo 'IN ARRAY';\n}\nelse\n{\n    echo 'ERROR!';\n}\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
is because PHP is checking each of the haystack’s values against the needle itself. Suppose you have 2 arrays like so:<\/p>\n
$a = array('string', 'id');\n$b = array('string', 'id');\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
$a<\/code> and $b<\/code> are the same right? If you feed these to in_array<\/code>, $a<\/code> being the needle and $b<\/code> being the haystack, it checks is $b[0]<\/code> equal to $a<\/code>? False. But if you make the arrays like this and do in_array($a, $b)<\/code>:<\/p>\n
$a = array('string', 'id');\n$b = array(array('string', 'id'), 'id');\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
it will return true because $b[0]<\/code> is equal to $a<\/code> itself or wherever $a<\/code> occurred within the haystack which is $b<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
