Its common problem if are using duplicate ids<\/code> in different scripts<\/code>.<\/p>\n

For egs, if you are using name<\/code> as id in login script<\/code> and the same id is used in search script<\/code>, so definately these 2 would create conflits with the same id name<\/code><\/p>\n

Now, to reslove this you can have 2 options<\/p>\n

  1. Add unique ids<\/code> to elements<\/code> or access by using its parent selector<\/code> like $('#parent_unique_id #name')<\/code><\/li>\n
  2. Add login script only to login page and search script to search page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Updated,<\/strong> if you want to check the page and then add\/run script then you can use location.href<\/code> like,<\/p>\n

    if(location.href.indexOf('login')!==-1) { \/\/ for example its login.php page\n     \/\/ code for login page\n}\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
    And do something like for search page<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
