do\n    printf \"%s\\n\" \"$property\"\ndone\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>(or) just <\/p>\n<pre><code>printf \"%s\\n\" \"${all_properties[@]}\"\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<p>The <code>Awk<\/code> command works as follows:-<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Getting the user input in a variable and passing to <code>Awk<\/code> using the <code>-v<\/code> syntax and doing a regex match <code>$1 ~ input<\/code> to match the line containing user input, say <code>object1<\/code><\/li>\n<li>I am enabling a flag to start marking lines from this line on-wards and resetting the flag once the next object starts, see <code>$1 ~ \/\\[object\/{flag=0; next}<\/code><\/li>\n<li>The condition <code>flag &amp;&amp; NF<\/code> takes care of processing only non-empty lines and only property values after the requested object.<\/li>\n<li>Now on the selected lines, using the <code>split()<\/code> function in <code>Awk<\/code>, we can extract the value of property and print it, which will be later stored in the array.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Put the line with <code>read<\/code> and the line below as shown in a <code>bash<\/code> script with she-bang set to <code>#!\/bin\/bash<\/code> and run it.<\/p>\n<p>E.g. in a complete script as<\/p>\n<pre><code>#!\/usr\/bin\/bash\nread -p \"Enter object to get properties for: \" objectname\nall_properties=($(awk -F '=' -v input=\"${objectname}\" '$1 ~ input{flag=1;
