Not sure I get your question right but my bet is you’re asking how to convert between ASCII and number representation of characters.<\/p>\n

Encoding\/Decoding has nothing to do with RSA<\/strong>. You just use dynamic range shift. As the alphabet is in increasing order in ASCII<\/strong> so the only thing left is to offset the a<\/code> or A<\/code> to zero. <\/p>\n

for lowercase char to number conversion try:<\/p>\n

char c=\"m\";  \/\/ c is you character m for example\nint i=c-`a`; \/\/ i is output number \n<\/code><\/pre>\n
if you got both lowercase and uppercase letters then you need to change it to :<\/p>\n
char c=\"q\";  \/\/ c is you character q for example\nint i;       \/\/ i is output number \nif ((c>='a')&&(c<='z')) i=c-'a';\n else                   i=c-'A';`\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
where c<\/code> is your character and i<\/code> is output number<\/p>\n
For number to char conversion try:<\/p>\n
c=i+`a`;\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
or for uppercase:<\/p>\n
c=i+`A`;\n<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
