The regular expression [abc]?<\/code> matches zero or one character that can be either a<\/code>, b<\/code>, or c<\/code>. Thus it does not match abc<\/code>. Positive matches would be the empty string, a<\/code>, b<\/code>, or c<\/code>.<\/p>\n
