I was finally able to get it to work!!! with the following xml:<\/p>\n

<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"utf-8\"?>\n\n<LinearLayout android:layout_width=\"match_parent\"\n    android:layout_height=\"match_parent\"\n    android:orientation=\"horizontal\"\n    xmlns:android=\"http:\/\/schemas.android.com\/apk\/res\/android\">\n\n    <com.example.hellooboe.FunctionView\n        android:layout_width=\"500dp\"\n        android:layout_height=\"500dp\">\n    <\/com.example.hellooboe.FunctionView>\n\n    <com.example.hellooboe.FunctionView\n        android:layout_width=\"500dp\"\n        android:layout_height=\"500dp\">\n    <\/com.example.hellooboe.FunctionView>\n\n    <com.example.hellooboe.FunctionView\n        android:layout_width=\"500dp\"\n        android:layout_height=\"500dp\">\n    <\/com.example.hellooboe.FunctionView>\n\n<\/LinearLayout>\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
FunctionView is my custom View, but you can add any View. This xml holds the horizontal rows.<\/p>\n
I included the above layout (function_holder) in this xml:<\/p>\n
