Your error happens because you do not have any global name average<\/code> in scope when you use it.
\nYou seem to be confused about when and whether to use the class<\/code> keyword. In your particular example, you don’t need it — both average<\/code> and main<\/code> want to be global functions, not class methods.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, if you want to learn about classes:<\/p>\n

Notice how the declaration of average<\/code> now includes a self<\/code> parameter — this links the call to a particular two<\/code> object. Notice also how the invocation of average<\/code> changed: it is now t.average()<\/code>. In this case, t<\/code> is the specific object which will be passed as the first parameter of two.average()<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
