Arrays are a set of values<\/strong><\/p>\n

[\"a\", \"b\", \"c\", \"d\", \"e\"]<\/code> is an array<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Each value has an associated index<\/strong>. Index’s start at 0. <\/p>\n

var array = [\"a\", \"b\", \"c\", \"d\", \"e\"]\nIndexes:      0    1    2    3    4\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
As you can see, the value \"c\"<\/code> is associated<\/strong> with the index of 2<\/code><\/p>\n
To get that element, you would use brackets<\/strong>. First, you have the name of the variable (array<\/code>), and then you have the brackets<\/strong> with the index inside<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
array[0] \/\/The result is \"a\"\narray[2] \/\/The result is \"c\"\narray[4] \/\/The result is \"e\"\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
In your case, i<\/code> starts off at 0, and since i is 0, mainPage[i]<\/code> is the same as mainPage[0]<\/code>. Using the index’s I above, you would notice that mainPage[0]<\/code> is \"Home\"<\/code><\/p>\n
