The following returns <code>true<\/code> in Firefox (Chrome appears not to signal this correctly, but rest assured it supports trickling):<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"snippet\" data-lang=\"js\" data-hide=\"false\" data-console=\"true\" data-babel=\"false\">\n<div class=\"snippet-code\">\n<pre class=\"snippet-code-js lang-js prettyprint-override\"><code>new RTCPeerConnection().createOffer({offerToReceiveAudio: true})\n.then(offer =&gt; console.log(offer.sdp.includes('\\r\\na=ice-options:trickle')))\n.catch(e =&gt; log(e));<\/code><\/pre>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Interestingly, there&#8217;s a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/w3c.github.io\/webrtc-pc\/#dom-rtcpeerconnection-cantrickleicecandidates\"><code>pc.canTrickleIceCandidates<\/code><\/a> attribute you can use to detect if the <em>remote<\/em> peer supports trickling, presumably to support connecting to legacy systems.
