1. Stop the XAMPP services:
Open the terminal and type the following command to stop the XAMPP services:
sudo /opt/lampp/lampp stop
2. Remove the XAMPP directory:
Now, type the following command to remove the XAMPP directory:
sudo rm -rf /opt/lampp
3. Remove the XAMPP symbolic link:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP symbolic link:
sudo rm -f /usr/bin/xampp
4. Remove the XAMPP configuration files:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP configuration files:
sudo rm -f /etc/xampp
5. Remove the XAMPP log files:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP log files:
sudo rm -f /var/log/xampp
6. Remove the XAMPP man page:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP man page:
sudo rm -f /usr/share/man/man1/xampp.1.gz
7. Remove the XAMPP desktop icon:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP desktop icon:
sudo rm -f /usr/share/applications/xampp.desktop
8. Remove the XAMPP icon:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP icon:
sudo rm -f /usr/share/icons/xampp.png
9. Remove the XAMPP menu entry:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP menu entry:
sudo rm -f /usr/share/menu/xampp
10. Remove the XAMPP service:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP service:
sudo rm -f /etc/init.d/xampp
11. Remove the XAMPP cron job:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP cron job:
sudo rm -f /etc/cron.d/xampp
12. Remove the XAMPP logrotate job:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP logrotate job:
sudo rm -f /etc/logrotate.d/xampp
13. Remove the XAMPP user:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP user:
sudo userdel -r xampp
14. Remove the XAMPP group:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP group:
sudo groupdel xampp
15. Remove the XAMPP configuration files:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP configuration files:
sudo rm -f /etc/xampp/xampp.conf
16. Remove the XAMPP log files:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP log files:
sudo rm -f /var/log/xampp/*
17. Remove the XAMPP database files:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP database files:
sudo rm -rf /var/lib/xampp/*
18. Remove the XAMPP web root directory:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP web root directory:
sudo rm -rf /opt/lampp/htdocs/*
19. Remove the XAMPP cgi-bin directory:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP cgi-bin directory:
sudo rm -rf /opt/lampp/cgi-bin/*
20. Remove the XAMPP tmp directory:
Type the following command to remove the XAMPP tmp directory:
sudo rm -rf /opt/lampp/tmp/*
